Revamping the Exercise View

Over the weekend I decided to step away from the computer and finish up my patio. I spend far too much time in doors so I prioritised that to give me space to contemplate, do some work outside and maybe cry a little.

Then today, I spent some of the day streaming and working on Bearly Fit. The revamp of the Exercise View is almost done and i've been doing my best to make UI more useful and remove confusion by:

• Removing the double menu
• Making core information more prominent
• Including the names of muscle groups targeted by the exercise
• Improving the Guides to make them easier to read

There's still a bit of work left and testing on smaller screens but i'm pretty happy with the outcome.

On the job front still having conversations. Weirdly, despite the market feeling generally quiet London seems to be booming. Just a shame they're all hybrid or onsite. I've been put forward for a couple of roles, waiting for 3 to "go live" and feedback on one. I am worried that from next week i'll be on borrowed time but isn't everyone?

On the side, I've been working with Claude to split the Bearly Fit code base into modules in Expo 56. The aim is to build a code base with better integration with React 19 and the React compiler, as well support for themeing and improved testability. The core is almost finished and then that just leaves the main features.
