A lateral bound is like a bear hopping across a stream from paw to paw. You push sideways off one leg, land softly on the other, and steady yourself before the next jump, building sharp movement, balance, and lower-body power.

Instructions

  1. Stand on one leg with your knee slightly bent.
  2. Push sideways off your foot and jump laterally.
  3. Land softly on the opposite foot.
  4. Bend your knee and steady your balance.
  5. Pause briefly, then bound back the other way.
